The SilentDispatcher Goes Online!

First post in a new blog - ahhh...

I'm here to share what I learn and learn what I can about the use of telematics in the transportation industry.

According to Wikipedia -

792359_27688737 "Telematics - The convergence of telecommunications and information processing, the term later evolved to refer to automation in automobiles, such as the invention of the emergency warning system for vehicles. GPS navigation, integrated hands-free cell phones, wireless safety communications and automatic driving assistance systems all are covered under the telematics umbrella."

As the VP for sales and marketing for Silent Dispatch Inc. (a quick note about who we are is Chauffeur at Work below) this is an area that is of real interest to me.  My background in social media is what has me using a blog to connect to people in the industry who also are interested in this topic.

What will we learn together? where the industry is, where analysts and you, as readers of this blog, think it is going, what the important developments are.

Will I only plug Silent Dispatch? No - I'll try to make sure our competition and associates are all fairly treated and recognized in my writing, but I'll iterate periodically that Silent Dispatch, Inc is committed to keeping their technology and functionality at the top of the chart for telematics providers.  We'll do that by listening to you and putting the development team to work to address the needs we hear.

So off we go... thanks for visiting!

Silent Dispatch today provides a state-of-the-art system for the livery trade, that is limousines, executive cars and taxi companies.  You can find out a whole lot more about the product here.
